About the role:

We continually enhance our in-house tooling to improve turnaround times and maintain the quality that our customers expect.

To that end, we are looking for a Graduate who is keen to develop a career as a DevOps Engineer.

The current infrastructure is built upon Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Git, vCenter across Linux and Windows platforms. We look to optimise and automate wherever possible, leading to the key objective of enabling the team of world class engineers to reduce their build and test times.


  • Responding to engineers’ issues and incidents across our services.
  • Diagnose problems and inefficiencies in our continuous integration systems and workflows used by our development and test engineers.
  • Create, test, deploy and maintain Infrastructure services like Jenkins, Nexus and Gitea.
  • Documenting new services and add to the team knowledge base.
  • Ensure that appropriate tools are in place for monitoring systems.

Qualifications and experience

  • BSc in Computer Science / Engineering degree.
  • Some knowledge of DevOps, perhaps gained through an internship or previous work experience.
  • The successful candidate will have already graduated, and be able to take up the position as soon as possible.

Essential Skills:

  • You have an understanding of continuous integration systems.
  • You have experience of Linux or Windows operating systems (ideally both).
  • Knowledge of virtualization.
  • Knowledge of web Services i.e., nginx, HAProxy.
  • An understanding of networking knowledge (DNS, TCP/IP).
  • You are competent in one or more of the following languages:  Python, PowerShell, Golang, Java, C++.
  • You are proficient with Git.

Desirable Skills:

Knowledge and experience of some of the following:

  • Used Docker or equivalent.
  • Metrics visualization (Grafana).
  • Understanding of Windows package installation.
  • Awareness of Agile working SCRUM/Kanbam
